Ms. Elizabeth D'Orazio - Math

Welcome to 7th Grade Math!
My name is Ms. D'Orazio, and I am so excited to be working with you and your student this year. We will be exploring number systems, expressions and equations, proportions, geometry, and statistics throughout the year. Students will be expected to use their minds on a daily basis so come to class prepared to think. This is a very demanding class, and I look forward to working with every student. Math takes a lot practice in and out of the classroom, but I believe that any student who is willing to put in the time and effort will be successful! HomeworkHomework is graded on completion, not accuracy, and is assigned 3-4 times a week. Please check your student's agenda daily for a signature/stamp from each core teacher regarding whether your student does or does not have homework. 
QuizzesQuizzes will be given on a weekly/bi-weekly basis and at the teacher's discretion. Quizzes will always be announced ahead of time. 
Tests: Tests will be given at the end of each unit and will cover all materials from that unit. Tests will always be announced ahead of time. Students will be given a review before the test to study. ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN to receive full credit.
