Christine-Noelle D. Arroyo
is from Columbia, South Carolina. Her parents and older sister were originally from the Philippines before they immigrated to the United States. Ms. Arroyo graduated on May 2015 from the University of South Carolina, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (Summa Cum Laude). Throughout her undergraduate experience, Ms. Arroyo worked for the USC String Project under the direction of Dr. Gail Barnes as a classroom instructor, private violin teacher, and a classroom assistant. As an active member of the USC School of Music, Ms. Arroyo was a part of music organizations such as Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) and the USC Chapter American String Teacher’s Association (ASTA). She worked for the Tri-District Arts Consortium (Tri-DAC) as a Music Administrative Assistant, music theory teacher, and a performing guest artist. Ms. Arroyo plans to earn a Master’s Degree in Music Education, and eager to develop the strings program at Haut Gap Middle School.
Spending time with close family (especially her nephew) and friends, physical fitness, exploring new restaurants, window-shopping, keeping up with her friends, and practicing violin.
