Students read books they have chosen, then take Reading Practice quizzes. Immediately, they receive a TOPStm Report, showing their score on the particular quiz. This provides constructive feedback and motivation for the students, as well as an opportunity for student praise. These Reading Practice quizzes are designed so that they require careful reading by the student to be able to answer them correctly. This provides a means to measure the amount and quality of reading practice the students are getting.
